Shipping policy

1. Delivery area

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom. Available delivery options and charges are shown at checkout before you complete your order.

2. Processing times

We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1-2 business days following order confirmation. Business days means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in England and Wales.

During busy periods, launches, promotions or courier disruption, processing may take slightly longer. If there is a significant delay, we will contact you where possible.

3. Delivery times

Estimated delivery within the United Kingdom is usually 2-4 working days via Royal Mail and 1-2 days via DPD following dispatch by tracked courier. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

If you need your order urgently, please contact us before placing your order at support@lostinhound.co.uk and we will let you know what options are available.

4. Delivery charges

Delivery charges are calculated and shown at checkout before payment. Any free shipping thresholds, promotional delivery offers or courier options will be displayed on the website or at checkout where available.

5. Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, we will send a dispatch or tracking email where tracking is available. Please use the tracking link for the most up-to-date delivery information.

6. Incorrect delivery details

Please check your delivery address carefully before placing your order. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery details provided at checkout.

If you notice an error in your delivery address, contact support@lostinhound.co.uk immediately. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered fulfilment or been dispatched.

7. Failed delivery and returned parcels

If a courier is unable to deliver your parcel, they may leave instructions for redelivery or collection. If a parcel is returned to us because delivery could not be completed, we will contact you to arrange redelivery or a refund.

Where a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal, failure to collect or repeated failed delivery attempts, we may deduct delivery costs already incurred or charge a redelivery fee.

8. Lost or delayed parcels

If your parcel has not arrived within 7 working days after dispatch, please contact us at support@lostinhound.co.uk with your order number. We will check the tracking and raise an investigation with the courier where needed.

9. Damaged parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, please email support@lostinhound.co.uk as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and photographs of the packaging and damaged item. Please keep the packaging until we have reviewed the issue.

10. Risk and ownership

Risk in the products passes to you when the products are delivered to the delivery address provided. Legal ownership of the products passes to you once we have received full payment.
